Kept getting up and going back to sleep from 6:30am central to 10am...finally got up and showered and headed out onto the streets of New Orleans...

New Orleans is like being in another country but right here in America...It's so old and rustic but you can feel the history as you walk thru it.....but no matter what, it comes down to this...this is the place for music, alcohol and vodoo. This city is by no means the best of anything...it's just the town of excess....So after drinking and walking the entire French Quarter and the Riverfront for three to four hours, I needed a nap.
After waking up and showering it was time to throw myself in again. For anyone who think this city isn't safe, well, it isn't. I watched two different people get arrested....one for a person getting such road rage on the corner of bourbon and conti that person got out of their car and started with the other driver (with no regard for the uniformed officers standing right there) and the second, well, I still haven't figured out what happened...
Tonight was clearly more fun than last night. Sunday is a bad night in town. This place was crazed tonight....I walked around again for hours checking out different music and bars...that's about as detailed as I'd like to go on this website...From what I remember from tonight, I had a good time...Anyway, as much fun as I had, I'll be glad to leave this place behind....
My drive to Texas begins tomorrow....
