Well, if you remember from yesterday's log, I woke up and showered and did my log and left off with me going to the pool..  That's where I'll start.

10:15 and I leave the room, check out, check my bags and off to the pool.  I haven't been to a pool in a long time.  This was awesome.  The MGM Grand has 5 huge pools, but the one that I was interesting in was the Lazy River Pool.  The Lazy River has a slow current and people rent rafts and just float around.  It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to go the whole loop.  So, imagine this.  You're sitting on  a raft, drinking a pina colada slowly going around the the entire pool area checking out every girl in a bikini.  Yeah, life stinks.

I was at the pool from 10:30 till 2:45.  I rode around the Lazy River 8 or 9 times and just laid out.  I am so burnt!!!  My whole body hurts!!! My chest, shoulders, arms, back, ears, legs and neck...Ouch!!

2:45 As I walk back to the lobby to get all my stuff, I pass an Oxygen Bar.  I've always seen these things on TV and thought this is weird.  So, I was there and so I did.  They first stick the hoses up your nose.  The tubes go thru different jars of liquid.  Each liquid has it's one quality from purifying, energy, nirvana and such forth.  You can control the levels from each one or none.  The session lasts about 20 minutes.  You almost feel giddy and a little while.  It was fun and the girl, melanie, who ran the stand was from Staten Island so we caught up on NYC a little.  It was fun.

3:20 I got my car out of valet and started my trip to San Diego.

3:30 and I'm on Rte 15 South.

4pm and I'm California

5:15 and I have to stop for some Agriculture Inspection.  And no, I didn't have any plants, pets, produce and things like that.  And I'm on my way again

8:10 and I'm in San Diego.  By the way, after being in 100 to 110 degree weather, but you go somewhere where the temperature is 70, it feels really, really cold.  I find my way to my friend Tommy's apt and we hang out for a little while.  After chilling for a while with Tommy and his roommate, Keith, Tommy and I go to some beach town hangout.  It was awesome.  A room full of me's.  All laid back people in a beach bar.  I think it was called Sunshine.  We hang for a little while and met up with Jason, another one of his friends.  They introduced me to a local edible specialty in the area after the bar.  It was called a Bullfrog.  It was a weird sort of enchilada.  I was inducted into the Bullfrog club.   Then we wandered onto the beach where there were just tons of bonfires and people burning and mass quantities of people playing bongos.   It was like being in some sort of 60's beach party time warp.  It was very cool.  We went back to his place watched some TV and fell asleep really comfortably on the couch...
